Unigen Pharmaceuticals Receives NutrAward

Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Lacey, WA, received the NutrAward 2005 for developing and marketing the best new ingredient of 2004. This annual award was presented to Unigen for Univestin, Unigen’s science-based natural joint health ingredient, which contains a proprietary blend of antioxidant-rich plant extracts that supports joint health by working on several of the body’s joint health pathways. The award was voted on by attendees of the annual Nutracon and Natural Products ExpoWest conferences. NutrAward product nominees were judged for their scientific merit, efficacy, safety, innovation, market potential and ability to increase market credibility.
